Ingredients
  

To make the wings:

  • 2 pounds Chicken wings and drumettes
  • 1 tsp Coarse kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika

To make the Honey Garlic Wing Sauce:

  • ½ cup Honey
  • cup of Water
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • ¼ tsp Red pepper chilli flakes

Instructions
 

  • To prepare the honey garlic chicken wings, begin by preheating the oven to 425°F.
  • Take a large mixing bowl and add the chicken wings to it.
  • Sprinkle salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika over wings. Mix them well so that they are well coated with the seasoning.
  • After that, arrange the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. And leave some space between them.
  • Bake the wings for around 35 minutes or until their internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Meanwhile, you can make the sauce. You need to add honey, water, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and chilli flakes in a saucepan. And whisk them until smooth.
  • Heat the mixture over medium heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring when needed.
  • Next, remove the sauce from the heat and set it aside.
  • Transfer the wings to a clean mixing bowl and pour the sauce over them.
  • Toss the wings in the sauce until they are well-coated.
  • Finally, serve the wings and enjoy!

  • Use quality chicken wings: Using fresh, high-quality chicken wings will make a big difference in the taste.
 
  • Season the wings well: Make sure to season the wings with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. This will add flavour and enhance the taste of the chicken.
