Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cilantro
  • 2 cups of wild berries
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 1 tsp barley grass juice powder
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tsp Atlantic Dulse
  • 1 tsp Spirulina

Instructions

  • Get all your ingredients in one place. Decide which consistency you will require. If you are looking for a thick consistency, freeze your bananas overnight. Slice these bananas into small bites and leave them in your freezer.
  • After you have gathered all your ingredients. Add them to your blender and blend the mixture. Ensure blending it till your smoothie is smooth in texture. You will also have to use a tamper in case you choose to use frozen bananas and blueberries. The tamper helps them reach the blades in order to make the process easier and quicker. Don’t add water unless you feel you need help blending. Smoothies are not like fresh juices. They have a different consistency. Therefore, don’t add too much water and ruin that thick consistency. If you really like a thin texture, you might add one cup of filtered water. However, ensure that the water you use is purified or filtered. We often forget the purpose of this smoothie is to detoxify. You don’t want these ingredients to let metals enter into your body again.
