Chatpati Egg Maggi Recipe

  • 2-3 tbsp Hot and Sweet Maggi Tomato Sauce
  • 5-6 tsp vegetable or olive oil
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • Pepper and salt to taste
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 cup cabbage shredded
  • 1-2 Green or red chillies finely chopped
  • ½ cup bell peppers finely chopped
  • ½ medium-sized onion finely chopped
  • 1- 1 ½ cups water
  • 140 grams Maggi Noodles (or 2 individual packets)
  • 3 eggs


  • Cook the Maggi noodles as per packet instructions.
  • Heat oil in a wok and saute the onions until they turn crisp. Add the chillies and capsicum and continue to saute for 2-3 minutes. Toss in the shredded cabbage along with roasted cumin, red chilli and turmeric powders, salt and garam masala.
  • Cook for a few seconds before adding Maggi tomato sauce and sauteing for a minute.
  • Collect all the vegetables onto one side of the wok. Break the eggs on the other side, scramble and combine them with the vegetables. Continue to cook until the mixture turns dry.
  • Mix in the cooked Maggi noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes before removing from the flame.
  • Serve after garnishing with black pepper.


You can also add boiled corn along with Maggi tomato sauce.
